The current status of Wisconsin Central Sands groundwater quantity has been the subject of much recent debate. In response, a group of University of Wisconsin System staff have written the white paper available below as a foundational piece to inform this discussion.  The paper focuses on three topics:  the background hydrogeology of the region;  a summary of peer-reviewed literature available on the subject and, most importantly; a discussion of potential solutions that could be considered as a way forward.
